In a tragic turn of events, a 17-year-old Brooklyn man recently lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on the Belt Parkway. The collision, which occurred overnight, involved intoxicated individuals and claimed the life of the young victim.

According to law enforcement, the accident transpired as a 39-year-old driver navigated their Toyota Highlander along the Belt Parkway. Simultaneously, two motorcyclists were exiting the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge when they collided with a wall, resulting in a separate crash.
The 17-year-old victim, who was a passenger on one of the motorcycles, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorcyclist sustained injuries but is expected to recover.
