Boston Celtics Sweep Pacers, Advance to NBA Finals

Top-Seeded Celtics Close Out Eastern Conference Finals with 105-102 Victory

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown Lead Boston's Comeback

The Boston Celtics overcame an 18-point deficit to stun the Indiana Pacers 105-102 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night, completing a sweep of the series.

Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with a game-high 28 points, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points. The Pacers were led by Myles Turner with 22 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' late-game surge.

Boston trailed by 18 points with just over 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter, but the Celtics chipped away at the deficit and eventually took the lead with just over two minutes remaining in the game. The Pacers had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Turner's three-pointer attempt bounced off the rim.

The Celtics' victory was their fourth in a row in the playoffs, and it marked the first time they had swept an opponent in a playoff series since 2012.

Boston will now face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, which begin on Thursday night.
